Day-Care Workers Rally Against Shift of Students

Day-care workers from District Council 1707 renewed their protests against cuts to kindergarten in their centers by the Administration for Children’s Services Oct. 28, demonstrating outside both the agency’s headquarters and City Hall against the transfer of thousands of 5-yearolds from day care to public schools.
