     To the Editor: Bob Pfefferman writes in the Oct. 23 issue of The Chief that the current Managerial Employees Association leadership shares responsibility for managerial “economic regression.” Nothing could be further from the truth.

Air-Brushing Complexity
     To the Editor: I searched in vain for The Chief’s hard-hitting, balanced and thorough editorial endorsement of Mike Bloomberg on the candidate’s Web site, but could not find it. The next day, the New York Daily News reported that the Bloomberg campaign would not list The Chief alongside 60 other editorial endorsements because it was critical of the Mayor.

Bloomberg Wrong Choice
     To the Editor: I must say that I totally disagree with your “reluctant choice” for Mayor. I find Mayor Bloomberg very “disconcerned” with the needs of the “average guy.” I also find that many of his accomplishments are quite exaggerated. I would think that a change would benefit the city.
