BETTER-EQUIPPED: The Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and Curry MacWilliams Janitschke Underwriters Oct. 15 gave $25,000 to Ladder Company 6/Engine Company 9 on Canal St. in Manhattan for training and fitness equipment. Capt. Stephen Corcoran of Ladder Co. 6 said, ‘To have this equipment close at hand is a tremendous asset to us.’
