Breaking News: Architect and Engineer Jobs Open With SCA

The School Construction Authority is hiring Managing Architects and Managing Engineers at a starting salary of more than $65,000 to manage the design, construction and renovation of the city’s approximately 1,600 public school buildings.

Filing is open through Oct. 1. The filing fee is $60.

SCA announced open-competitive education-and-experience civil service examinations for the titles Managing Architect A & B and Managing Engineer A & B. Qualification requirements include possession of a valid license as a Registered Architect or Professional Engineer with seven to eight years of full-time project leadership experience in Architecture or Engineering, depending on title, or alternate qualification requirements for applicants with relevant graduate degree or experience.

The salary range for the A level is $66,552 to $112,954. It is $72,745 to $126,416 for the B level.
