Joe Reznick were wearing their alternative uniforms when they led squads representing the NYPD and FDNY in the anchor event of the Municipal Credit Union's Municipal Sport Series at Keyspan Park in late July. Before a crowd of 4,800, the Finest team won 5-1 to cap off a series that began with a hockey match between the two departments at Nassau Coliseum and a football game at Hofstra University. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Police and Firefighter Widows and Children's benefit funds.
