Probe TWU Building Sale

To the Editor:

Re: John Samuelsen's letter (June 19 issue) about the secretive sale of the TWU Local 100 union headquarters building:

What information will John Samuelsen ever find out? Is he an attorney? Is he an accountant? Is he an investigator? No.

It's high time we had an official government investigation into the sale of the TWU Local 100 building. Maybe Andrew Cuomo could investigate the sale and where the proceeds went and what, if anything, is left of our money. Or maybe the Feds, who recently put Brian McLaughlin away for 10 years, could investigate the sale.

Roger Toussaint and Ed Watt's "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding the sale has been allowed to go on for far too long. After more than three years, it's high time for the details to be exposed.
JOSEPH PASSARETTI,
Bus Operator, TWU Local 100
