161 Uniformed Upgrades Among NYPD Promotions

Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly promoted 25 Lieutenants, 53 Sergeants and 83 Detectives in two ceremonies April 24 at Police Headquarters.

Frank J. Doka was promoted to Assistant Commissioner of the Financial Management Division. He began his career in civil service in 1985, as an Accountant in the Mayor's Office of Labor Relations and was recruited by the NYPD in May 1989 as a Staff Analyst.

Isaac Jefferson and Michael Perez were promoted to Supervisor of School Security.

Communication Tech Promotees

The Supervising Police Communications Technician promotees were Leyla C. Ansari, Vernez M. Blyden, Sheena C. Bratcher, Victoria O. Colter, Sylvia Jimenez, Shareema N. Jones, Katherine Perron and Yeisa V. Williams.

Olga L. Lauriano was promoted to Executive Agency Counsel- Level MI.

Mary B. Weld was promoted to Intelligence Research Specialist- Level II.

Ravikumar L. Chickmagalur was promoted to Mechanical Engineer- Level III.
