USA photo by Jim Cummins Uniformed Sanitationmen's Association President Harry Nespoli hands a scholarship check for $1,000 to Julianne Catherine Freeman to help pay for her tuition at Cornell University in the fall. Julianne, the granddaughter of the late SanWorker David 'Buddy' Freeman and daughter of retired city cops Carolyn and David Freeman (alongside her), also received a $1,000 scholarship from the USA's parent union, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
