The re-elected officers are Frederick Floss, UUP's vice president for academic affairs; John Marino, UUP's vice president for professionals, and Rowena Blackman-Stroud as treasurer. As statewide officers, they will serve on UUP's 19-member executive board. The other 11 members are serving terms that expire in 2009.

The five newly elected members to the executive board are Jamie Dangler of SUNY Cortland, J. Philippe Abraham of the University of Albany, Peter D.G. Brown of SUNY New Paltz, Raul Huerta of SUNY Morrisville, and Carolyn Kube of SUNY Stony Brook University's Health Science Center.
