Now or Never, Roger

To the Editor:

The stars are aligning for TWU Local 100 to win a solid contract next year. Roger Toussaint has spent months telling transit workers how wonderful the new Sander/Roberts management team is. Now David Paterson has become Governor. If there was ever a time for Toussaint and his assistant, Ed Watt, to deliver decent wage increases without major concessions, this is it.

Regional bus and further bus consolidation discussions should stop immediately.
