An article in last week's issue about alleged anti-union bias in the Department of Environmental Protection misidentified Robert West as the DEP supervisor who had "a history of retaliating against workers involved in union activity." While Mr. West had brought the disciplinary charges that led to such a finding by the Board of Collective Bargaining, it actually leveled the charge of improper retaliation against his superior, DEP Brooklyn Superintendent Louis DiMeglia, for his role in the case.

An article that ran in the Feb. 29 issue on the United Federation of Teachers' 55/25 pension plan incorrectly stated that new Teachers would be allowed to retire with a full pension at age 57 after 25 years of service. In fact, new Teachers will be able to retire at age 55 after 27 years of service.
