Since the government took our dues check-off away, our union has been tearing itself apart. As of today, almost half the local's members are in bad standing as a result of failure to pay dues, leaving the ranks divided and the union financially crippled. More ... Ms. Rodriguez claims that Mr. Floyd is not seeking a sufficient pay increase for School Safety Agents. More ... To the Editor: The Sewage Treatment Workers of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) don't have a catchy slogan such as "The Finest" or "The Bravest," but our contribution to the city's economic and environmental health is every bit as important as theirs. To the Editor: I'm writing in response to Mike Gimbel's continued rhetoric which was published in the Aug. 8 edition under the title, "Guild's Leading Demagogue," to once again clarify his misstated facts.
