Can Vote If Dues Are Paid
To the Editor: The Chief has consistently recognized the need for Transport Workers Union Local 100 members to pay their dues regardless of whether they support the current set of officers or not.

Unwarranted Guild Attack
To the Editor: I am writing in response to Mike Gimbel's letter, "Guild Critic Irresponsible" in the July 11 edition. Mr. Gimbel appears to have some type of obsessive-compulsive disorder, being he named me 21 times in what amounts to a nine-paragraph letter.

Obama's Weaknesses
To the Editor: Michael Gorman in his latest missive (July 11 letter) sounds like he was on the Obama vice-presidential selection committee. The last time I looked, Senator Obama had named three people to this task and Mike, you weren't one of them. However I hope that Senator Obama reads The Chief and takes your suggestions under consideration.
