SBA Cites Cuomo, 3 Slain Officers

State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo was the top honoree at the Sergeants Benevolent Association's Centennial Heroism Awards Oct. 30 at the New York Hilton.

Special posthumous awards were given to three cops who died in the line of duty earlier this year: Police Officer Russell Timoshenko and Auxiliary Police Officers Nicholas Pekearo and Yevgeniy Marshalik.

Others honored for their community work included Mets third-baseman David Wright and National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell.
