The Chief-Leader/Michel Friang
Patrolmen's Benevolent Association Patrick J. Lynch Oct. 18 announced that the union was filing a Federal suit against the NYPD's new Breathalyzer policy, arguing that the move violates its members' Constitutional rights and that the department is seeking to rectify a problem that doesn't exist. The unions representing NYPD Detectives, Sergeants and Lieutenants submitted a separate complaint earlier in the week.
