FIGHTING FIRE WITH MONEY:

The Chief-Leader/Adrienne Haywood-James Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta (center) received a check on behalf of the FDNY Foundation from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Oct. 9 during a ceremony at Rockefeller Plaza. The funding is meant to educate the public about fire safety. The ceremony was a part of Fire Prevention Week 2007.
