Politically Incorrect To the Editor: This guy Mike Gorman is absolutely unbelievable, if not delusional, but as long as the Chief-Leader continues to publish his inane rhetoric (Sept. 28 letter), I will respond. Gorman demonstrates the height of irresponsibility in attacking Mayor Giuliani by saying his present quest is not a quest for the presidency but for "King of the World." He goes on to say that Giuliani's excessive ambitions make him a dangerous man. What the heck does this mean? What is this guy smoking? What knowledge or evidence does Gorman have of Giuliani's ambitions? How irresponsible can this guy get? He further proves his paranoia when he says that the man leading the race for the Republican nomination in every national poll has "demons that make him a serious threat ... intelligent people should do everything in their power to prevent this excessively ambitious and ruthless man from becoming president." This guy must have watched the movie "The Exorcist" once too often. And just who does Gorman think he is fooling with his disingenuous compliments of President Eisenhower. Gorman has demonstrated time and again in his writings his animus towards Republicans. It is obvious the American voting public does not share Mr. Gorman's distorted thoughts towards Mayor Giuliani. My advice to you, Mr. Gorman, is stick to chasing ambulances and leave the political commentary to someone who knows what they are talking about. WILLIAM L.
