The Fire Department
graduated 96 Emergency Medical Technicians and 18 Paramedics
Sept. 12 at the York College Performing Arts Center in
Jamaica, Queens. 'You have chosen a life of service over a
life of comfort - to help a total stranger at any hour in any
condition,' said Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta.
