45 Promotions To Fire Lieut.

Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta presided at a promotional ceremony for 46 members of the Fire Department Feb. 16. Forty-five of the promotees were elevated to the rank of Lieutenant, and one to the rank of Marine Engineer. The newly promoted officers will be assigned to various units throughout the city.
