'QUICK REACTION':

The Chief-Leader/Pat Arnow

Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly Feb. 6 lauded Police Officers Patrick Lynch and Christine Schmidt for helping save an injured colleague, P.O. Joseph Cho, who was knocked unconscious after being hit in the back of the head with an aluminum bat by an assailant. The officers received a plaque and a $500 check from the Police Foundation. 'I reacted quickly,' Officer Lynch told reporters the next day. 'I did my job.'
