Special Treatment

To the Editor:

Is the NYPD kidding me? The new Hasidic cop is off all Saturdays and Jewish holidays. My dad, an observant Catholic cop, worked Sundays and he missed many Christmases. I was a fireman and also worked Sundays and Christmas. Why can't every Jewish and Christian cop/fireman enjoy the same privileges as this "rookie" cop?
