      A defense fund has been set up to help Bernie Kerik cover the legal bills from his Federal indictment for misusing his office in every way he could. The fund's Web site states, however, that while the money raised is intended "to defray legal expenses ... any contribution you make to the trust will be treated as a gift to Mr. Kerik to be used at his discretion.
