DEBT OWED TO LYNCH

Debt Owed to Lynch

To the Editor:

I know that most if not all of the uniformed unions have it in for the PBA for past transgressions.

Stop and think for a moment. This round of bargaining produced some pretty good terms. The reason for these good terms is because the city wanted to lock in the PBA and they were willing to be a little more generous than usual to accomplish this.

So in this case the unions should thank Pat Lynch for causing the city to offer more.

PETER J. KELLY, Retired President, Uniformed Sanitation Chiefs Association
