John J. Acerno and John A. Coloe were promoted to Assistant Chief. Raymond M. Goldbach was promoted to Deputy Assistant Chief.
Promoted to Lieutenant were Marco L. Silva, Philip Russo, James Finnegan, Timothy Parker, William P. Fox, Dennis S. DeRosier, Mark H. Jarmek, Robert Torrey, Jeffrey P. Straub, Stephen L. Letscher Jr., John E. Keenan, Kevin M. Molloy, Dennis G. Molloy, Stephen G. Eagers and Michael C. Kaeser.
New Marshals
One of the Firefighters promoted, ex-cop David Wong,
became the first Asian American to hold the title of Fire Marshal. Also promoted
to Fire Marshal were Thomas D. Brusca Jr., Brian T. Kane, Christopher P.
Sanacore, Francis J. Vaskis, James F. McNally, Jon F. O'Shaughnessy, William J.
Rohr, Joseph D. Walz, John P. Paolella Jr., Robert H. Ravert, George Aguirre,
Thomas A. Ubertini, Robert H. McDevitt, William J. Mackin, Kevin P. Cassidy,
John W. Malley, Michael A. Tierney, Robert S. Watson, Richard J. Pyryt, Joseph
B. Sullivan, Michael J. Swift, Josef M. Pruden and Joseph J. Green.
