During a Dec. 11
meeting of the Citizens Crime Commission, John Jay College of
Criminal Justice President Jeremy Travis (second from right)
spoke of his plans to make the school a senior college over
the next four years, eliminating associate degrees while
creating partnerships with the remaining two-year schools in
the City University of New York system. Also present were,
from left, the new Crime Commission president, Richard Aborn
and District Attorneys Richard A. Brown of Queens, Charles J.
Hynes of Brooklyn, and Robert Johnson of The Bronx.
