Holloway The Best

To the Editor:

I would like to thank and congratulate The Chief for your Nov. 10 story on the retirement of Floyd Holloway. I had the good fortune of serving with Floyd in one capacity or another for most of his nearly 40 years of service. I can state without fear of contradiction that as far as law-enforcement goes, there has never been a legislative representative in the State of New York who has accomplished more, and there probably never will be another.

With Floyd, his work in Albany was a labor of love and dedication which paid dividends that those in law enforcement will reap for years to come. I can go on and on about Floyd Holloway and his accomplishments, but as far as I am concerned the one thing that counts most is that for these 40 years Floyd has been my friend, and when you have that you have everything.
