The city's Environmental Protection Commissioner, Emily Lloyd, was honored with a Community Achievement Award by American ORT's Engineering and Construction Industry Chapter Nov. 9 at its annual luncheon in the Rainbow Room in midtown.

The CAA is intended to recognize individuals working to improve qualify of life, creating role models or establishing new directions for society.
