Mayor Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly honor Det. Dillon Stewart and Det. Daniel Enchautegui at a ceremony Oct. 13 at the NYPD Memorial in Battery Park City. Their names were added to the wall along with the names of 99 Police Officers who were killed in the line of duty as early as 1849. Those officers' records have recently been updated by the department in an effort to recognize their heroic acts.
