DC 37 Endorses Cuomo for AG

District Council 37 Sept. 27 endorsed Andrew Cuomo for State Attorney General.

Also receiving the union's nod were City Councilwoman Yvette Clarke, the Democratic nominee in Brooklyn's 11th U.S. Congressional District, and Sylvia Friedman in her re-election bid for a Manhattan seat in the State Assembly.

"We endorsed Mr. Cuomo, Ms. Clarke and Ms. Friedman because they have a consistent record of support on the issues that are important to this union," DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts said in a Sept. 28 statement. "We believe they will continue to best represent the interests of the labor community."
