DC 37 Division Director Dies

Funeral services were held Aug. 22 at Christ Church Riverdale for Sherwyn A. Britton, who had been the Director of District Council 37's White Collar Division until her death Aug. 16. She was 59 years old.

DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts noted that Ms. Britton was one of the founders of the union's Black History Committee and said, "She was always on the frontline fighting for our members. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family and relatives."
