'SHE'S FIGHTING FOR US': U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton receives District Council 37's endorsement for re-election from the union's executive director, Lillian Roberts, Aug. 17. While Ms. Roberts praised her as having 'worked tirelessly on behalf of the issues affecting our members,' some union activists joined Ms. Clinton's Democratic primary opponent, Jonathan Tasini, in questioning why he wasn't given a chance to address DC 37 officials.
