KING OF THE LINKS: Uniformed Firefighters' Association Vice President Jim Slevin (third from left) presents a plaque to Long Island Congressman Peter T. A union spokesman said the award was 'a thank you for standing up for city firefighters and homeland security funding for New York,' alluding to Mr. King's role as Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security. Proceeds from the golf outing - which attracted 120 participants - and dinner will benefit the union's scholarship fund.
