Nurse Convention Set in Albany

The New York State Nurses' Association will hold its annual convention at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers in Albany Oct. 5-8.

More than 500 RNs from the area are expected to attend activities such as educational workshops, labor relations discussions, health care vendor exhibits and business meetings.

Diana Mason, an RN who edits the American Journal of Nursing, will give the keynote speech Oct. 6, focusing on the influence nurses can have on improving the country's health-care system.
