'Summer Meals' Offers Prizes

The Department of Education is offering prizes to students attending summer school for participating in its Summer Meals Program's "Passport to Adventure."

Those receiving breakfast and lunch while attending summer school are being given a Passport card, and with each meal they consume will receive a New York City "site sticker" containing information about municipal landmarks. Those who fill their cards can win prizes including a bicycle, Mets tickets, tickets to Astroland Amusement Park, and free admission to the Museum of Natural History, Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, and the New York City Police Museum.
