'Will Get Better'

Ms. Torrence issued a statement saying she was "pleased to serve the membership for another three years. This will only get better."

Also re-elected from Ms. Torrence's Power to the Workers slate were Clarence A. Wall, executive vice president; Frankie Sanchez, director of Industrial relations; Charles Bembry, executive secretary; Charles J. Carnes, treasurer; and Abriitto Divine Pla' El, director of organization.

Twenty-two of 26 positions on the local's executive board were filled with members from the Power to the Workers slate, as were four of five trustee positions.
