Never has this been clearer than with the vote on the new Transit contract. More than 22,000 votes were cast and the outcome was decided by just seven votes. Unbelievable!

To the other 10,000-plus people who could have voted on the contract but chose not to, you can't complain about the outcome; just realize if you did vote, you could have made a difference ...
