Horn Promotes 48 Throughout Jail System

Correction Commissioner Martin F. Horn Sept. 23 named a new Deputy Warden-in-Command, two Deputy Wardens, 14 Assistant Deputy Wardens, and 31 Captains.

MICHAEL HOURIHANE: Steps up in rank. Michael Hourihane was promoted to Deputy Warden-in-Command and will oversee the department's hospital prison wards. Mr. Hourihane began his career with the department in 1981, as a Correction Officer in the James A. Thomas Center. He has since moved up the career ladder working in various facilities, and has been overseeing the hospital wards since July. Among his other assignments as a Deputy Warden was serving as Commanding Officer of the Intelligence Unit.

The new Deputy Wardens are Cyril Dolly and Stephen Wettenstein.

The names of the new Assistant Deputy Wardens are: Cathyreen Bitting-Bailey, Edwin Diaz, Dale Douglas, Tony Durante, Juan Freire, Sharon Mallory, Ronald Miller, Curtis Patterson Jr., James Rivera, Russel Tindal, Anthony Toulon, Darrel Wilkerson, Monica Windley, and Sheila Woods.

The new Captains are: Hollis Adams, Andrena Barnes, Judy Cochran, Robin Collins, Sandra Cudjoe, Sonya Davis-Roberts, Jorge Espada, Demetria Gives, Stephen Haimowitz, Michelle Hallett, Anastasia Henderson, Sheila Irby, Darren Jackson, Kenneth Jacobs, Tamara Jolly, Sean Jones;

Naomi Langford, Cheryl Lennon, Maxsolaine Mingo, Wayne Nelson, Crystal O'Neal, Alexis Parrilla, Jacqueline Payden, Ada Pressley, Christopher Schooler, Deva Sims, Jason Thompson, Denise Varona, Wendy White, Rose Marie Williams, and Vanessa Womack.
