FILING STILL OPEN FOR CITY CORRECTION JOBS
Pays $30,692 To Start; 600 Hires in 2006; Deadline is Oct. 14; Need College Or Military Duty
      Filing is scheduled to close Oct. 14 for an exam leading to Correction Officer jobs, the Department of Citywide Administrative Services said. The Correction Department plans to hire at least 600 officers next year, according to department spokesman Tom Antenen.
